Your new website

A site built to be found, and to bring you the right clients.

You've seen the three looks. Here's the thinking underneath all of them, the pages we'll build, and the few things we'll need from you to get started. No jargon, no surprises.

Why this is different

Built for what people actually search, in your voice.

Your last site looked fine but was built around phrases almost no one types into Google. This one targets the words real people in Ontario are searching, while keeping the warm, honest voice that already sounds like you. Same heart, far more reach.

Real demand, not guesswork

Every page targets a term people genuinely search — like therapy for anxiety (2,900/mo) and therapy for burnout (1,300/mo, low competition). We have the data to back each choice.

Reach beyond St. Catharines

Most therapists only ever show up in their own town. Your virtual offering lets us reach women right across Ontario through the content — not just locally.

Your expertise, front and centre

20+ years, ICADC, trauma-trained, and your substance-use & family work — surfaced clearly so the right people trust you quickly.

Leads you can actually see

Every enquiry and call is tracked. You'll get a simple monthly report showing how many people found you and reached out — proof it's working.

After you choose a look

Here's how it goes from here.

1

Pick a direction

Choose the concept that feels like you. Mixing elements is welcome.

2

Refine together

We polish the words, confirm your details, and tune the look.

3

Build & launch

We build every page and put it live on your own domain.

4

Track & report

We measure leads and visibility, and send you a simple monthly report.

A few things we need from you

Quick answers to get your site started.

Most of these take a minute. For anything technical, we'll walk you through it on a screen-share — you won't be left to figure it out alone.

About you & your practice

  • Credentials & title. We'll show "Sarah Hope, BA, ICADC, ITATM." What title fits you best on the site — Counsellor, Therapist, or Drug & Alcohol Counsellor? We won't use "Registered Psychotherapist" — unless you're registered with the CRPO. Are you?
  • Fees. In person $150 / 50 min, virtual $100 — still right? Who qualifies for the sliding scale, and what's the lowest rate you offer?
  • Hours & cancellation. What days/times do you see clients, and is the cancellation policy still 24 hours?
  • Anything you don't offer that we should keep off the site? (We've already left out couples work.)

How clients book & reach you

  • Booking. How should people book — your Psychology Today profile, a booking tool (Jane, Owl, etc.), or call/email? Please share the link if you have one.
  • Enquiry inbox. Is hello@shopecounselling.com the best place to send you each new enquiry? Want a text alert too — and to which number?
  • Phone for the site. 905-327-9213 or 289-277-8120? (We can also set up call tracking so we can measure phone enquiries — optional.)

Photos, logo & testimonials

  • Logo file. Do you have a high-resolution or vector version of your "SH" logo? If not, we'll recreate it crisply.
  • Office photo. A photo of 49 Lake St (inside or out) helps your local page and Google profile.
  • Photos. Okay for us to use your professional photos on the new site?
  • Testimonials. Okay to keep Krista's and Jennifer's (already on your current site)? Any others — and do you have written permission?

Access — we'll walk you through each

  • Google Business Profile. Add us as a manager so we can optimize it and help you gather reviews. Which Google account is it under?
  • Analytics & Search Console. So we can show you exactly how many people find and contact you. We'll set these up.
  • Your domain. Who registered shopecounselling.com, and do you have the login? We need this to point the new site live — we'll track it down together.

Anything else

  • Your words. Anything about your work, your ideal client, or your story you want to make sure comes across?

You've been burned before. This time you'll see exactly what's being built, why, and what it's bringing in.
